Gournet Plant Based: Out of the Bowl Ramen - Thursday 6:00 PM (Jun 12 - Jun 12)
Out of the bowl Ramen with Spinach-Cilantro Sauce, Stir-fry Vegetables and Tempeh Asian recipes are the best for the plant-based cuisine, as they use the very source of protein that we use: tofu, tempeh, beans….Skill: Stir-frying and stir-fry versatility, other options to noodles (rice, cauliflower or root vegetable rice) and a sauce that you will use not only for ANY vegetable but for dressings, dips and more.. along with marinades for tempeh/tofu. We will emphasize the different components of a vegan menu (vegetable, protein, starch or starch substitute).
East Coast Swing - Tuesday 7:00 PM (Apr 8 - May 13)
Join us for a fun, upbeat class learning the basics of East Coast Swing. It is a slower version of Jive and therefore extremely adaptable with a wide range of tempos and foot rhythms. East Coast Swing is danced with a carefree style and most often with a lot of circular rotation. The various possible rhythms are excellent training for quick footwork and spontaneity. Once mastered, the Swing is fun and exciting to learn and practice. No previous dance experience required, singles and couples are welcome.
