Pickleball - Intermediate Lessons - Sunday 12:15 PM (Jun 7 - Jun 21)
For those intermediate players (3.0 to 3.5 level), who are looking to improve their game play with additional instruction regarding higher skill shots and strategy. Players should have experience playing more high level recreational games and be working towards a 4.0 level.
Pickleball - Learn to Play - Beginner - Sunday 1:45 PM (Jun 7 - Jun 21)
Pickleball is a net court game that uses lightweight paddles and a plastic, perforated ball. It is like a slowed down version of tennis. This sport is easy to learn and is a valuable development aid in eye-hand coordination, exercise and gross motor skill training. While fun for everyone, this sport does require at least a moderate level of physical agility. Paddles may be provided for use if required.
Tennis - Register & Play - Beginner - Tuesday 6:30 PM (May 26 - Jun 23)
Participate in weekly, non-instructional organized games set within a social environment, featuring varying match formats. This program is intended for individuals at the beginner level. Matches may be conducted as singles or doubles. Participants must supply their own racquets; balls will be provided.
F.A.M.E (Fitness and Mobility Exercise) - Monday 2:00 PM (May 21 - Jun 25)
FAME (Fitness and Mobility Exercise) is a community-based program for stroke survivors and is designed specifically and proven to improve fitness, mobility and strength. The small group class includes functional strength, agility and balance exercises. Suitable for people at any time after stroke who can stand for 5 minutes, walk for four metres (even with a walking aid) and communicate with the instructor. You may be called by researchers at UBCO to ask if you would like to participate in a research study.

A great way to start the day. A shallow water moderate to high intensity class that focuses on building cardiovascular strength and endurance through routines of intervals and varying intensity options.
Strength & Flexibility for Healthy Aging - Thursday 10:30 AM (Apr 9 - Jun 25)
Suitable for individuals living with arthritis, or recovering from injury or illness and for the general population. Balance exercises are included for fall prevention. Those who have undergone joint replacement will benefit from this class. Please speak to your health provider should you have any concerns about your suitability for a program.

Adult-Advanced - Tuesday 6:00 AM (May 12 - Jun 18)
This course is structured like a swim workout not a swim lesson. Instructors will facilitate a variety of challenging workouts, provide feedback and stroke correction.Prerequisites:Knowledge of front crawl, back crawl and breast strokeAbility to swim 200 metres continuously
