This fun and active class introduces kids to the basics of basketball, including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. Through games and skill-building drills, young players will develop confidence and coordination while learning to love the game!
Wheelchair Rugby - Wednesday 4:00 PM (Apr 8 - Jun 17)
Wheelchair rugby is a sport designed for people with physical impairments. However, we welcome players of all abilities (age 16+). Participating in wheelchair rugby will teach you how to move a sport wheelchair, catch and throw, and how to take contact from your opponents. Weekly sessions will be in a ’training format’, where participants will engage in aerobic exercise to increase their heart rate, followed by sport-specific drills, and will end off with a scrimmage.
