| Kelowna Folk Roots presents David Francey | 2026-07-29 19:30 | David Francey has now stood in the vanguard of Canadian folk music for the best part of 30 years. “An outstanding songwriter,” as Hockey Night in Canada host Ron MacLean described him. A late starter, the former house carpenter released his debut album, Torn Screen Door, in his mid-forties. Thirteen discs followed which earned an incredible five Juno Awards. The likes of The Rankin Family and James Keelaghan have drawn from Francey’s repertoire.
