Join us in the park for the 12th annual Pride Festival and March in celebration of Kelowna's diverse community! The March will start in Stuart Park and head south along the lakefront promenade to City Park where there will be a celebration with live entertainment, vendor booths, food trucks and a beer garden. Turtle Island Festival is a celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day. It is a gift to the community, and a chance to showcase the diversity of Indigenous cultures in Canada, and their contribution to Canadian society. Starting at 10:00 am and running until 7:00 pm, the celebration includes childrens' activities, music, arts and crafts, a business lunch, traditional storytelling, tipi, and a mini pow-wow. Turtle Island Festival is for community members of all ages.

Das AutoSchau is an annual weekend event for Euro/German car’s put on by the local VW Enthusiast group (Okanagan Volkswagen) and Interior Audi Club. Between 80 - 100 european cars will be on display in CIty Park. Participants can access all that downtown Kelwna has to offer as well the amenities in City park such as the waterpark and beach.

Kelowna Farmer's and Crafters' Market - bringing the market to the downtown, a community based event on Sundays during mid June to mid September. Farmers, Food, & Crafts showcased, including family activities, events, and entertainment. We draw our vendors from between our boundaries of Armstrong and Summerland and focus on handmade, locally-grown, and artisanal products.

This year we are raising funds for the Child Advocacy Centre. This is a brand new initiative. Their mission is to create a safe child and youth friendly environment that supports children and youth in need, act as their personal and family advocate, change the long-term outcomes and build a stronger community through support and education. With the help from the Kelowna Foundation, RCMP, Interior Health, and the Ministry of Children and Development they will use their impressive momentum to build an establishment that will help children in many ways ranging from therapy (both mental and physical), medical attention, investigations, and more.

What started as a rite-of-passage in 1949, is now Canada's largest and longest running open water swim event. Family and friends challenge themselves to swim the 2.1km distance across Okanagan Lake and cross it off their bucket list. Proceeds from the event supports our YMCA Okanagan Swims Program which sends all Grade 3 children for free swim lessons to teach them to be safe in and around open water. Since the program's inception in 2012, we have donated over $115,000 and sent over 14,000 for lessons.

|Okanagan Tattoo Show|

Now in it's seventh year, The Okanagan Tattoo Show brings artists to the Okanagan Valley from across the world. With a unique hybrid venue, the show celebrates Tattoo Culture July 19-21 at the Kelowna Curling Club. 180 tattoo artists inside with 15 bands all weekend outside with accompanying Beerfest. The show is a favourite among artists where we show them the charm of the Okanagan! Partial proceeds go to Canadian Mental Health Association.
