Advanced Exercise for Stroke Survivors - Tuesday 11:45 AM (Jun 30 - Sep 1)
A fitness class for stroke survivors ready to move forward. Build strength, improve balance, and reconnect with your body in a supportive, energizing environment. Led by knowledgeable instructors, each session is tailored to challenge and inspire. Suitable for people at any time after stroke who can stand for 5 minutes, walk for four metres (even with a walking aid) and communicate with the instructor. This isn’t rehab—it’s your next chapter in movement.
Zumba Fitness - Wednesday 5:30 PM (Jul 15 - Aug 26)
Latin inspired dance-fitness that's exhilarating, calorie-burning and stress-relieving. Enjoy high energy, fun, easy-to-follow routines set to motivating music that will change the way you look at exercise. It will leave you feeling amazing! Everyone is welcome. No dance experience needed.
Acrylic Painting - Monday 6:00 PM (Jul 6 - Aug 17)
Major focus of this course is to create paintings using the forgiving medium of acrylics. By the end of 6 lessons students will have a better understanding of colour mixing and warm and cool colours. Paint your favourite subjects either in representational style or in abstract. Supply list provided upon registration.
Chair Yoga - Tuesday 2:30 PM (Jun 30 - Sep 1)
This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. We will start with a short meditation and breathing exercises before the practice. The poses, or Asanas, are often adaptations of Hatha yoga. We will end the class with a short meditation and a quote for the day. This program is not suitable for those with osteopenia/osteoporosis.

Gentle Relaxation Yoga - Thursday 5:15 PM (Jul 9 - Aug 27)
This class moves through a series of postures with a focus on breath and proper alignment. Beginning with breath work and warmup, moving our way through Hatha style poses and ending with a relaxing savasana - this class is designed for those who may be new to yoga and/or those looking to connect with body, mind and spirit. All levels welcome.
Hatha Yoga for Stress Release - Tuesday 5:15 PM (Jun 30 - Sep 1)
A gentle beginner Hatha style class that will complement any other activity and help develop flexibility, strength and balance. Yoga practice will help ease tension and melt away stress. Leave each class feeling calm, centered and replenished. Enjoy a beautiful lake view and soft candlelight while you practice. No previous yoga experience needed and all levels welcome. Adaptations will be made for any body type and condition.
Hatha Flow Yoga - Monday 4:15 PM (Jun 29 - Aug 31)
In this class discover your center through physical movement and breath awareness. This class will work through a series of postures in order to reduce physical tension, build strength and bring mental clarity. The precise technique of Hatha yoga is integrated into a smooth, tension-melting flow. All levels are welcome!
