Pickleball - Beginner Lessons - Sunday 3:15 PM (Aug 16 - Aug 30)

Pickleball is a net court game that uses lightweight paddles and a plastic, perforated ball. It is like a slowed down version of tennis. This sport is easy to learn and is a valuable development aid in eye-hand coordination, exercise and gross motor skill training. While fun for everyone, this sport does require at least a moderate level of physical agility. Paddles may be provided for use if required.

Slo-Pitch - Co-ed Intermediate - Thursday 6:00 PM (Jun 25 - Sep 17)

This is a Co-ed Intermediate level league. Teams must supply their own equipment. Games are played at the Mission Recreation Park Softball Complex. Co-ed slo-pitch teams are made up of a 6:4 gender ratio (self-identified). A minimum of four players of the same gender must be on the field at all times. Prizes for divisional winners.Teams aiming for a higher level of play should join the Intermediate division, designed for experienced players with a strong knowledge of the game and rules. This division is suited for those who understand strategy and can consistently hit and field the ball.
