Learn different hip hop moves while listening to your favourite hip hop and pop musical artists. A lot of fun combined with a bit of fitness. Note: Participants may only register for one adaptive dance program per season due to demand.
The Play Pen - Thursday 9:00 AM (Apr 3 - Jun 26)
The toys are out for the kids to play while you enjoy some time with other adults. There will be coffee & tea provided for the adults. This program is drop in only. Please note that this is a parent supervised program.

Wheelchair Sport Children - Thursday 4:00 PM (May 8 - Jun 19)
Each class will include a warm-up, skill-building activities, and a sport to play. Please bring a sport wheelchair to use. We will have some available to borrow.
Boccia & Indoor Curling - Friday 1:15 PM (Apr 4 - Jun 20)
Let's rock! Learn both boccia (similar to bocce) and the great Canadian sport of curling in this combined class. This is a highly interactive program with an emphasis on fun.
Parkinson's Exercise Class - Tuesday 12:00 PM (Apr 1 - Jun 17)
PWR!Moves is a Parkinson's disease-specific exercise program. This group class focuses on four foundational skills that help to counteract the symptoms of the disease. These Basic 4 PWR!Moves are always performed with HIGH EFFORT for bigger and faster movements while directing your attention on "how it feels" to use your full movement potential.
Chair Yoga - Monday 11:15 AM (Mar 31 - May 12)
This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. We will start with a short meditation and breathing exercises before the practice. The poses, or Asanas, are often adaptations of Hatha yoga. We will end the class with a short meditation and a quote for the day. This program is not suitable for those with osteopenia/osteoporosis.
Zumba Fitness - Monday 6:30 PM (Apr 7 - Jun 16)
Latin inspired dance-fitness that's exhilarating, calorie-burning and stress-relieving. Enjoy high energy, fun, easy-to-follow routines set to motivating music that will change the way you look at exercise. It will leave you feeling amazing! Everyone is welcome. No dance experience needed.
Qigong by the Lake - Monday 6:45 PM (May 26 - Jun 23)
Practise Qigong outside, right on the shore of Okanagan Lake, weather permitting. (All abilities welcome! Chairs are available as all exercises can be done in standing or sitting position). Expect to practise gentle movements, deepen your breathing, limber up and get more flexible as well as relaxed, experience increased circulation, balance and energy and feel peace and calm as well as joy. This way of rejuvenating body, mind and spirit is an ideal way to unwind from the day
More Line Dancing - Tuesday 6:45 PM (May 20 - Jun 24)
Whether you are a beginner or want to learn more steps then More Line Dancing is for you! You don't need a partner to line dance, solo dancers welcome. Heck you don't even need rythmn! Get up, grab your boots or sneakers and we'll see ya out there on the dance floor!
