Leon Ave. closure between Abbott & Water St.

Traffic Advisory

Leon Avenue will be closed between Abbott Street and Water Street from Monday, Sept. 22 to Saturday, Sept. 27 for road paving and utility work related to new development.

The road will be closed to traffic during construction hours. However, a single lane for eastbound traffic will be open to vehicles outside of work hours, between approximately 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. Pedestrian access will remain open throughout the duration of the work. Access to properties along Leon Avenue will be limited to residents of the area.

Construction hours are Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., though work may occur outside of regular hours including evenings, overnight and weekends to minimize impacts on residents by limiting the duration of active construction in the area.

Please abide by safety personnel instructions, posted construction signage and fencing to ensure everyone’s safety while commuting through the area.
