The Apple Race Series includes two staple sporting events in Kelowna including the Apple Triathlon and the Kelowna Marathon. Both events will return to Kelowna in 2024 after a four-year hiatus due to complications related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of the City’s 2024 budget deliberations, Council endorsed funding for the City to take a lead role in re-establishing and stabilizing the Apple Race Series over the next three years. The first events since 2019 will take place in summer and fall of 2024. More information about the events, including details about volunteering and how to get involved will be available here in the coming months.
