Description: The City of Kelowna is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the construction of a surface water bypass project, which includes approximately 2,750 meters of 450mm PVC storm main, including manholes and surface restoration and 750 meters of PVC watermain, including services and fittings. Description: This training structure will play a critical role in providing training to new firefighters, as well as on going training to firefighters in Kelowna and the surrounding areas. This structure will be used for interior and exterior fire suppression training, search, ladder evolutions, rapid intervention, technical rope rescue, confined space rescue, ventilation, fireground survival, and incident scene management.

Description: The City completed Phase 1 of the Aerated Static Pile (ASP) Composting System at the Glenmore Landfill in 2024 and plans to construct Phase 2 in 2026/2027. Phase 2 will closely resemble Phase 1 which was supplied by Engineered Compost Systems. The city aims to engage a capable General Contractor to cultivate an early collaborative problem-solving culture in the project. The objective is to address key constructability challenges and minimize uncertainty in scope and long lead items during the design phase, prior to entering the Construction phase.
