Temporary closure of Apple Bowl east parking lot

Traffic Advisory

The east parking lot at the Apple Bowl via Spall Rd. will be temporarily closed at the gate starting February 25 to accommodate construction work along the adjacent laneway. The closure is expected to remain for approximately five weeks.

Crews will begin milling this week, followed by installing new asphalt and curbs.

Additional improvements include:

A multi‑use pathway on the north side of the laneway A walking path on the south side of the laneway Installation of new light poles along the laneway

During the closure, emergency vehicle access from Spall Road will not be available. All emergency access will be through the Burtch Road gate.

Please abide by safety personnel instructions, posted construction signage, and fencing to ensure everyone’s safety while commuting through the area. The City of Kelowna and onsite crews appreciate your patience and cooperation during this installation work and apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause.
