Kelowna Made returns to celebrate community and connection
News Release
After a two-year hiatus, Kelowna’s signature event, Kelowna Made, is back at City Park from August 15 to 17. The all-ages community celebration was founded in 2022 by volunteers, with support from the City and was created by locals, for locals. This year, the multi-day event will feature Shooting Star Amusement rides, interactive shows, food trucks, multicultural performances and more.
“While creating this signature event, the events team worked to ensure there was something for everyone to enjoy,” says Craig Campbell, Community Development Coordinator. “Kelowna Made lives up to this goal, incorporating activities that will be fun for the whole family including Bark in the Park, a golf simulator, science workshops and a performance from multi-platinum singer-songwriter Andrew Allen, on the Valley First Main Stage.”
There will be impacts to parking at City Park leading up to and during the event.
- Tuesday August 12 – Thursday August 14 – very limited parking in City Park
- Friday August 13 and Saturday August 15 – no parking in City Park.
- Sunday August 17 – limited parking in City Park.
