Liaison Therapist (Navigator)
The City of Kelowna and Allied Health (Interior Health Authority) have partnered up to bridge the gap between acute care services and community services. These services support individuals' self management of their health and include a variety of different health programs to suit your needs. Starting September 2, 2014, a liaison therapist (navigator) will be at the Parkinson Recreation Centre (see hours below) Monday to Friday to assist the general public with encouragement and direction towards appropriate programming.
The Active Living and Culture division offers a variety of health programs developed to help anyone achieve their fitness goals. These programs include Move for Your Health and workshops put on by non-profit organizations (such as the Arthritis Society).
