Yard Waste - Bi-Weekly Curbside Collection
Starting March 1, all residents on municipal curbside garbage collection will receive annual yard waste pick up every two weeks until November.
The new bi-weekly yard waste collection replaces the seasonal curbside pick ups and yard waste is no longer allowed in the garbage.

The new carts system provides biweekly curbside pick-up of yard waste for residential properties.
Please note, the automated program is for Residential Yard Waste Only (no commercial or agricultural waste) Different trucks collect garbage and yard waste.

Yard Waste Drop-offs
For residents that have an excess of yard waste, it can be dropped off year round at the Glenmore landfill in the yard waste pile free of charge (up to 250 kg). Please be sure to cover your load with a tarp in accordance with local bylaws and to keep our roads safe and clean.
Alternately, private collection companies will collect unlimited amounts of yard waste for a fee.

Take advantage of yard waste programs to reduce wildfire hazards around your home.
- Rake up all pine needles and cones
- Remove lower limbs of trees, about 2 metres above the ground
- Remove trees or tree limbs within 3 metres of your home
- Space trees or tree limbs three metres apart
