Yard Waste - Bi-Weekly Curbside Collection

Starting March 1, all residents on municipal curbside garbage collection will receive  annual yard waste pick up every two weeks until November.

The new bi-weekly yard waste collection replaces the seasonal curbside pick ups and yard waste is no longer allowed in the garbage.

Collection Schedule

Yard waste collection weeks are denoted by the leaf icon outlined in the 2010 Living Greener Calendar pdf icon.

Yard Waste Drop-offs

For residents that have an excess of yard waste, it can be dropped off year round at the Glenmore landfill in the yard waste pile free of charge (up to 250 kg). Please be sure to cover your load with a tarp in accordance with local bylaws and to keep our roads safe and clean.

Alternately, private collection companies will collect unlimited amounts of yard waste for a fee.
