All dogs within the City of Kelowna (over three months of age) must be licenced annually by the last day of February.  A late payment fee of $20 is applied after March 1. After July 1 the fee is halved for new residents or new dogs.

Fees
$20 for a spayed or neutered dog (certificate required for first licence)
$60 for an unspayed or unneutered dog

There is no fee to licence seeing eye and hearing aid dogs. Contact the Regional District for information on Kennel licenses.

Dog licences are issued by the Central Okanagan Regional District, however, they can be purchased at various outlets including City Hall Cashiers (first floor), local pet stores, the S.P.C.A. on Casorso Road and the Central Okanagan Regional District on K.L.O. Road.
