The Kelowna Community Theatre has two spaces available for public rental and is well equipped to serve any conference, class, performance, meeting or reception needs. The complex includes an 853 seat theatre including a 236 person capacity lobby with complete backstage amenities and a 1200 square foot rehearsal hall (Black Box Theatre). With state-of-the-art technical systems and a professional staff your event will be well-managed from start to finish.

Theatre
Rental of the theatre includes all dressing rooms, the green room, wardrobe room and the loading bay. Rental also includes one house technician for eight hours, front of house manager and all front of house staff for five hours (except box office).
Rehearsal Room
This 1200 square foot, 106 person capacity, multi-purpose room is great for rehearsing, classes, meetings, private functions or even as a Black Box Theatre. It has two washrooms, a coffee station and professional lighting system.

Parking
KCT has 8 dedicated parking spots that come with the building when booked, located by loading bay and stage door. Parking passes will be issued either when contract is sent, or upon arrival at the theatre. We also have space for one or two semi-trailers or buses outside of the loading bay doors, but this may interfere with the 8 spots. Parking requirements can be discussed at any time.
Ticketing
Ticketing is done through either Select Your Tickets or Ticketmaster. The theatre does have a box office station in the foyer of the theatre that can be used for ticket sales the night of the performance only. Staffing the box office is the responsibility of the renter as theatre rental does not include box office staff.
Front of House Information
Included in all rental rates is the volunteer Front of House staff which is managed by a professional Front of House Manager. These volunteers are trained to be aware of the safety of the audience and in delivering excellent customer service. They will make every attempt to make each event successful and pleasant for the audience.

Merchandise sales are subject to a 15% charge of gross sales less taxes.
Coffee service for seminars and bar service for receptions are included with the facility rental.
If needed, security guards can be arranged at an additional charge.
