Bike to School Week Bike to Work Week  Bike to Faith Week Carpool Week Clean Air Day i-Go Walk to School/Work Month i-Go Car Free				Bike to Faith Week May 30 to June 5 2011 The Central Okanagan has included Bike to Faith Week in Bike to Work Week Celebrations since 2009.  To join in on the fun of Bike to Work and Bike to School Week, we cordially invite all Central Okanagan places of faith to celebrate Bike to Faith Week!    Your members can celebrate Bike to Faith Week in a number of ways: Have your staff form their own Bike to Work Team by registering online. Go to Bike to Work Week for details on registering. Register a team of parish members the same way you would for Bike to Work Week. Host a Bike to Faith kick-off event. For example, at Mission Creek Alliance Church, Youth Pastor Terry Dyck, along with a team of volunteers, promoted the benefits of cycling and gave a short promo to their congregation two Sundays prior last year. Host a Bike to Faith Day during the week of May 30 - June 5, 2011 Have a celebration station serving refreshments for participating cyclists and families and draw for prizes. Have your service outside - bikes, helmets and all! Challenge another parish to see who has the most riders at the end of the week.   If you register a team through i-Go, we will give you a team leader package, prize package and a Bike to Work Week long sleeved t-shirt, and you can attend our team leader workshop (Go to BTWW for more details). This will help gain support and participation and reward participants with prizes.   See Bike to Faith Week invitation letter .
