Since opening its doors in 1962 the Kelowna Community Theatre (KCT) has had a vision of bringing people together from across the Okanagan and beyond to enjoy performing arts from community groups to professional productions. Located in the vibrant Cultural District at the heart of downtown Kelowna and overlooking the breathtaking Okanagan Lake, the Kelowna Community Theatre has seen everything from major recording artists, international ballets and outstanding local performing talent cross its stage. There is something for everyone - dance, opera, concerts and drama that will have you laughing, crying, singing and dancing in your seats.

The Kelowna Community Theatre is a live theatre owned and operated by the City of Kelowna and is available for rent for any events.

The Kelowna Community Theatre is proud to be home to the Kelowna Community Concert Society, Theatre Kelowna Society, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Kelowna. These organizations delight audiences year-round by evolving music and dance into an art form in its most profound sense. Other notable acts include Duke Ellington's Band, Prairie Oyster, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, The Moscow Ballet, Colm Wilkinson, Who's Line is It Anyways, The Proclaimers, Bryan Adams, Merle Haggard and the Just for Laughs Comedy Tour as well as many more national and international acts.

The Kelowna Community Theatre is also proud to present the Artscape initiative which encourages and facilitates area artists and artisans by providing alternative non-gallery display spaces.
