Facts and Statistics

The Kelowna International Airport maintains a detailed statistical database on all aspects of its operation.

Passenger volumes and aircraft movements for the past ten years are shown in the following charts. Monthly and year-to-date passenger volumes are also shown for the current year and the previous two years.

Additional information is included in the Airport's Annual Financial Report - a copy of which can be provided upon request.

As shown in this chart, passenger volumes have increased steadily during the last decade.

2007 Statistics Graph

In 2009, passenger volumes reached record levels, at 1,367,631 passengers. This represents a 1.6% decrease over 2008 - Nationally the passenger average at airports showed 6% below 2008.
