Rowcliffe Community Park
Rowcliffe Park will be the cornerstone of the Central Green development and the new heart of Kelowna’s South Central community. The development of the park could help attract high quality building development projects and also help attract residential buyers. It will provide an immediate amenity to the surrounding community.
The vision is that:
The park will provide downtown Kelowna residents with a universally accessible and sustainable, urban green space, which has the potential to evolve and accommodate a variety of community park uses and age groups.
Open House
Construction plans
were presented at an Open House on June 22, 2010.
Park Design
Local residents participated in a number of public forum in 2008 to choose the final design for the park.
See the Park Design Report
for details of park amenities and the public consultations.
