Bellevue Creek Greenway

Bellevue Creek Linear Park is a proposed greenway which runs adjacent to Bellevue Creek in the North Mission area of Kelowna. The park aims to link existing neighbourhoods and parks in the area and provide more than 14 kilometres of off-road trail.
First identified in the 1995 Official Community Plan, the proposed park was subsequently included in the 1997 North Mission – Crawford Sector Plan. According to current plans, the park would be implemented in three phases over more than 20 years.
Bellevue Creek, once known as Sawmill Creek, is an important natural amenity that runs between Okanagan Lake and Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. The creek travels through a scenic canyon and features at least two waterfalls. Consultation
Over the past few years, Staff have been working closely with the community, environmental experts and other City departments to determine the best routing for various segments of the trail. Public input helped identify issues and determine the best possible short and long-term routing of the park.
