Outdoor event volunteering

Through outdoor events, we strive to enhance community profile and economic development in sport and event tourism. Volunteers are vital to the success of events and we are committed to supporting organizations by sharing outdoor event volunteer opportunities available in our community.

As an event volunteer, you can develop new skills, contribute to the community, discover new connections and fantastic new people while gaining memorable experiences. Volunteers are needed for various special events throughout the year, be sure to check back periodically for updates. Volunteers, don't forget to log your hours for the 150 for 150 Volunteer Challenge in 2017 to celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday!
