The Burtch Sanitary Trunk is a critical element of the City’s wastewater infrastructure and is currently in need of immediate repair due to hydrogen sulfide degradation to the inside of the existing concrete pipe. This multi-year project will see the trunk upgraded via a Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining program as the desired means of rehabilitation due to its modest cost compared to other rehabilitation methods as well as mitigated public disruption.
