Upcoming Frost and McCulloch Road impacts
Beginning Monday, April 15 the eastbound lane of Frost Rd. between Seon Rd. and Gordon Dr. will experience lane disruptions and temporary delays for approximately two weeks to accommodate work on the Integrated Water Project.
Similar disruptions will also occur on Monday, April 22 to the northbound lane of McCulloch Rd. between June Springs Rd and Rose Rd. in East Kelowna for approximately two weeks, as well.
Work includes the installation of new water main lines, testing of air release valves and restoration activities.
During the closure, pedestrian access will be maintained on both roads and residents and businesses within the work zones will be able to access their properties.
For the safety of the public and work crews, please follow signs and directions of traffic safety personnel as every effort is made to minimize disruptions. Residents, businesses and motorists are thanked for their patience while work is underway.
By 2021, the $86-million Integrated Water Project will deliver clean drinking water to more than 2,000 Southeast Kelowna households and a sustainable water supply to South Mission agriculture.
