Road closure for Turtle Island Festival
The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society will be hosting the Turtle Island Festival in celebration of National Aboriginal Day on Thursday, June 21. To accommodate the event, Leon Avenue from Pandosy Street to Ellis Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The intersections will not be affected.
Motorists are asked to plan their route accordingly to avoid delays.
There will be a minor re-routing of transit route #97 Okanagan off of Leon Avenue for the duration of event’s road closure. Watch for alerts and find more information at bctransit.com/kelowna.
