“We’ll be using this new schedule moving forward to spread out the registration days a bit more and alleviate wait times making it quicker and easier to sign up for programs,” said Lori Angus, Recreation & Business Services Manager. “Some programs are in high demand and fill up quickly so we encourage residents to set up their online account in advance if they haven’t done so already.”
Each season, the Activity and Program Guide features programs for all ages at over 30 locations across Kelowna. The guide features fitness programs, yoga classes and swim lessons as well as programs and workshops focusing on art, dance, health, music, cooking, wellness and learning a new language.
The guide is available for viewing online now at kelowna.ca/recreation. Hard copies of the guide will be available to pick up on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at H20 Adventure & Fitness Centre, Glenmore IGA, Main Library Downtown, Parkinson Recreation Centre and Rutland Arena.
