Evening milling and paving on Enterprise Way
Starting July 13, Enterprise Way from Spall Road to Banks Road will be closed between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. to accommodate road resurfacing. Work is expected to be complete on July 24, weather permitting.
While road work can be inconvenient for travelers, regular maintenance helps extend the life of roads and manage long-term costs. Crews aim to schedule and coordinate road work to minimize negative impacts on neighbouring residents, commuters and visitors.
This project is one of several road segments that are included in the City’s annual Pavement Management Program which prioritizes city road repairs. Between May and September, crews will pave more than 15 kilometres of road in Kelowna.
The City of Kelowna and workers on site appreciate the patience of residents, businesses and motorists while road work is underway. Noise due to the road resurfacing is expected.
This project was funded in part by Federal Gas Tax funds which provide stable, long-term funding to local governments and other organizations to help them build and revitalize public infrastructure. The Union of British Columbia Municipalities administers the Gas Tax Fund in B.C. in collaboration with federal and provincial governments.
