Easter holiday hours of operation at civic properties

To mark the Easter statutory holidays, City Hall is closed Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5.
Parkinson Recreation Centre is open with adjusted holiday hours on Good Friday and Easter Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and open regular weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday (8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). For information about activity types available and to pre-book, visit kelowna.ca/prc.
The Glenmore Landfill is open regular hours throughout the long weekend from 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. For the keen gardeners out there or those looking to explore something new, OgoGrow and GlenGrow composts can be picked up at the Glenmore Landfill, or wholesale quantities (more than five yards) can be purchased from the Commonage Road Compost Facility until 4 p.m.
For residents exploring our beautiful outdoors this long weekend, a note that the Apex Trail at Knox Mountain Park is back to two-way use, meaning park users can go up and come back down the trail. However, Knox Mountain Drive remains closed to vehicles and available for pedestrians to provide additional space and accommodate those who prefer not to descend the trail.
The Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery administration office is closed Friday and Monday. Cemetery gates are open throughout the long weekend from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
