Eastbound only traffic on Raymer Avenue
Beginning Monday Sept. 13 eastbound only traffic will be in effect on Raymer Avenue between Richter and Ethel streets for construction of an active transportation corridor and water utility improvements.
This $1.1M investment will extend the Ethel Street Active Transportation Corridor south, linking downtown to South Pandosy, as well as replace aging water infrastructure. The route will offer people biking and walking better access to major destinations like Okanagan College with future connections planned to the Lakeshore Road multi-use pathway and Gordon Drive bike lanes. The project is anticipated for completion by the end of November.
The City of Kelowna and workers on site appreciate the patience of residents, businesses and motorists while road work is underway.
