Residents are invited to complete a survey and share their downtown parking experiences and opinions.

The survey will be available until Sunday, Nov. 12 and respondents will be invited to enter a draw for a $100 gift card at a downtown Kelowna business of their choice.

“Right now we are gathering information and this survey will help shape the draft area plan we ultimately bring forward,” says Dave Duncan, Parking Services Manager. “We will then present the draft area plan for further feedback.

In recent years, area parking plans have been completed for South Pandosy and the Hospital Area. They allow the City to respond to a number of issues and concerns related to parking including: parking supply, demand for short and long-term parking and impacts of development on neighboring residential areas.

This update is the next phase of the City-wide Parking Management Strategy that was endorsed by council in 2014.
