Tell the bus driver “Its Clean Air Day!” and take a ride on the bus for FREE anywhere in the Central Okanagan on June 2. Thanks to everyone who came out on June 2 for Clean Air Day 2010.  1576 passengers enjoyed free transit, and approx 500 dropped by one of our breakfast buses.  Check out the photos. During National Clean Air Day, June 2 from 6:30 to 8:30am, there will be three breakfast buses located at: Orchard Park Transit Station Queensway Transit Station Stevens Exchange Transit Station (West Kelowna) From 6:30-8:30am, commuters using green transportation can enjoy a FREE breakfast from BLISS BAKERY with local fruit on their way to work or school. If you are taking the bus, riding your bike, walking, skateboarding or even carpooling, you can stop by the breakfast bus for some free food, juice from Sunrype and free coffee from Perc’s, Blenz or Bliss Bakery. Clean Air Day is a celebration of environmentally-friendly activities that promote clean air and good health across Canada. It is a great opportunity to make environmentally-friendly lifestyle choices, for you, your family and your community.  Clean Air Day takes place during Commuter Challenge Week (May 31 - June 6).
