 Formerly Walk and Roll Car Free Day, i-Go Car Free! is a one day event promoting leaving the vehicle at home and trying an active form of transportation. A portion of a local road will be closed to traffic so community members can experience fun, family-oriented activities and interactive displays.
Imagine a City where the priority in urban centers is people, not cars. Help us celebrate World Car Free Day , promote clean air and safe streets by making active transportation choices.
Some of the FREE activities have included:
· Kelowna Area Cycling Coalition bike valet
· Island Snow and Deviate Skateboard Demos
· Cyclepath BMX demos
· Challenge the Warriors 4 on 4 road hockey sponsored by Sunplex
 · Live music from Kelowna Rock School and Overtime
· Yoga in the street 1pm
· Pole walking demos 1pm & 3pm
· Kids breakdancing workshop
· Kidz Zone (facepainting, coloring, bounce hire, street art)
· CO2 emissions display
· Interactive booths and activities
· Merchant Alley
· And much more.
