Celebrate Car Free Day!

Downtown Kelowna in Kerry Park and on Bernard Ave. and Mill St.
Formerly Walk and Roll Car Free Day, i-Go Car Free Day is a one day outdoor community event that promotes leaving the vehicle at home and trying an active form of transportation. A portion of a local road will be closed to traffic so community members can experience fun, family-oriented activities and interactive displays.

• Floor Hockey – Kids games and the RCMP vs. the Fire Department

Road Closures
Bernard Ave. from Abbott St. to Water St., Abbott St. from Lawrence Ave. to Bernard Ave., and Mill St. from Bernard Ave to Queensway will be closed to all vehicle traffic between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Booths are free unless you wish to sell your products or services. A $20 fee will apply. Tent and tables must be supplied by the vendor. See the vendor information form for more details or contact darrell@globalaffinity.ca

Volunteers will be taken care of all day and will be entered into a draw to win a great prize package, just for helping out.
Volunteer shifts include:
Event Set-Up: 7:30 -11:30 am
Event Take Down: 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Activity Volunteer: 11:00-4:30 pm
Traffic Barricade shift 1 - 8:00-11:00 am
Traffic Barricade shift 2 - 11:00 -2:00 pm
Traffic Barricade shift 3 - 2:00 - 5:30 pm
