2011 Winner: Sysco Kelowna

Sysco Kelowna has developed a sustainability strategy that involves six commitments, which include ensuring a safe, healthy and environmentally conscious workplace; being a trustworthy corporate citizen by connecting with and supporting the local community from field to fork; ensuring that all products marketed by Sysco Kelowna will meet of exceed Sysco Kelowna's sustainable supplier standards; marketing associated providing green solutions to customers; measuring, reducing and offsetting our carbon emissions to achieve carbon neutrality by 2020; re-thinking, reducing, reusing or recycling all our waste to become zero waste facility by 2012.

This is Sysco Kelowna's second year in a row receiving this award.
