2011 Winner: École KLO Middle School

École KLO Middle School has been dedicated to working on environmental issues for many years. In addition to the 15 students in the Eco club that commit a minimum of 2 hours per week to doing valuable environmental work, the entire school gets involved in projects on school grounds and throughout the community. Some of the School's amazing accomplishments include the SEEDS Green School Program, participating in grant and fundraising efforts that has raised more than $14,000, plus continued efforts to naturalize Fascieux Creek.
