2009 Winner: Raymer Elementary

The team of educators at Raymer Elementary are a very dedicated to Greening their school. Not only are they teaching and encouraging their students to be environmental responsible, but these educators live the same green lifestyle at home. Raymer Elementary has excelled at involving their students in school wide recycling, energy and water conservation initiatives. Students have formed an Eco-School club to reinforce Raymer’s environmental messaging. Raymer Elementary committed this past school year, to being involved in One Million Acts of Green and to planting more trees in their school yard.
