An Eco-Pass rewards anyone who drives a fuel-efficient hybrid vehicle by giving them FREE on-street parking for a one year period at any on-street parking meters in downtown Kelowna. Normal parking and time restrictions will apply.

Bring your vehicle registration to the fourth floor of City Hall.
What makes a hybrid?
A Hybrid-Electric Vehicle (hybrids) is a vehicle that uses a combination of an internal combustion engine and electric motor, powered by a large rechargeable battery, to move a vehicle. The battery in a hybrid is recharged either from the engine or from energy captured while braking.

Is the Eco-Pass available for other cars other than hybrids?
Other vehicles are eligible for an Eco-Pass if they meet the the following specifications:
- Maximum manufacturer posted fuel consumption of 5.9 L /100km (city)
- 2004 model year or newer
- Minimum of two person capacity
Motorcycles, scooters and non-manufacturer fuel modified vehicles are not eligible for the program.
How do I renew my Eco-Pass?
Rather than having you drive down to City Hall to renew your pass, the City has currently extended all Eco-passes until the end of 2014. This program is currently under review.
