Bicycle lockers offer a secure protected location to store your bicycle and several are located throughout the City of Kelowna including:

• Downtown on Bernard Avenue
• South Pandosy Town Centre
• Queensway Transit Station (downtown)
• Provincial Court House on Water Street (cultural district)
• Downtown Chapman Parkade and Library Parkade - 12 fenced lockers monitored by attendant  (Lawrence Ave/ Ellis St.)

Bicycle Racks

Don’t let lack of parking, bicycle parking that is, be the reason your customers ride on by!

With over 250 kilometers of bicycle lanes and paths throughout Kelowna, more and more people are using bicycles for transportation and recreation.

Now you can provide bicycle parking for your customers and staff at a huge discount! The City of Kelowna’s Bicycle Rack Program will cover up to 50% of the purchase and installation costs of a high quality bicycle rack in a publicly accessible area near you.

Who is Eligible?

Commercial businesses and institutions, that attract visits from the general public.

How much will it cost?

A bicycle rack costs between $534 and $853 installed, depending on design and capacity. The City of Kelowna is now offering, for a limited time, to subsidize half of the cost of an approved bicycle rack up to a maximum of $425. You can have a rack installed for as little as $267 (this includes installation by city crews).

What type of bicycle rack?

We have researched a number of racks from different manufacturers and recommend the CORA bicycle racks for their superior quality and durability. The polyester plastic coating of these racks ensures an attractive, long lasting finish. The design allows for secure locking of the bicycle's frame and wheels.

Upon receiving your application we will contact you directly. Our bicycle rack specialist will then arrange a time to visit your site in order to determine a suitable location. Racks will only be installed where they are accessible to the public.
