Get Involved

The City of Kelowna's Stewardship Program provides funding, equipment, expertise and administration to encourage groups and individuals to partake in environmental initiatives.

Stewardship: "
the act of responsibly managing and caring for natural resources in order to conserve, preserve and protect those resources for present and future generations"

We are all accountable

Watershed stewardship opportunities include:

  • garbage clean-up
  • Adopt-A-Stream Program
  • invasive weed removal
  • events and education
  • Yellow-Fish-Road Program
