The New Gospel Mission

Meals and beds alone cannot end homelessness. The new Gospel Mission will provide extensive employment and independence training, counselling, support services and affordable housing. The Mission’s zero tolerance position regarding alcohol, drugs and crime will continue to be a foundational policy.

In addition to emergency beds, plans for the new facility call for several dormitory style rooms to house up to 40 men participating in “Choices” (the program is currently capped at 12) and 24 single apartments to help men transition from homelessness to independence.

A New Look

The new Gospel Mission will be an attractive building, professionally designed to complement its surroundings. Design elements will include an interior courtyard where clients can congregate, space for expanded programming and a large dining hall.
